May 2, 2011Wiley “Junior” LeCompte, 75, a resident of Marrero for 50 years and Thibodaux for 25 years, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Naquin LeCompte; children, Elwood (Judy) LeCompte, Maxine (Donald “Poopsie”) Daigle and Arlene (Ronald “Buck”) Landry; seven grandchildren, Guy, Ryan, Perry and Kerry LeCompte, Chuck and Shane Sr. Landry and Toby Daigle; six great-grandchildren, Chuck Jr., Shane Jr., Keely, Logan, Guy Jr. and Lukas; one step-great-grandchild, Dystiny; siblings, Ronald and Henry LeCompte, Elsie Pitre, Sheila Vedros and Lana Rodriguez; and also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wiley and Marie Farve LeCompte; parents-in-law, Guy and Enola Andras Naquin; siblings, Daniel and Ray LeCompte, and Helen Niece, and two deceased infant brothers.
He is interred at Restlawn Cemetery. (Mothe)
