Wilfred Henry Belitz, 100, a native of Houston, Texas, and resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, March 4, 2014.
Mr. Belitz was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a banker in Houston. He was a true gentleman and great uncle.
He is survived by his sister, Agnes Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Belitz; parents, Benjamin and Alma Belitz; brothers, Ernest and Ben Belitz; and sister, Bertha Zapalac.
Visitation will be 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Chauvin Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at Terrebonne Memorial Park. (Chauvin)
