William Barrow, Sr., 83, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of Gray, La. died Wednesday, June 20, 2007.
He is survived by his four sons, William III, Larry, Richard and Anthony Barrow; two daughters, Joyce B. Wallace and Emily B. Vicks; one sister, Gladys Howard; and 16 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Berks Barrow; his parents, William and Louise Barrow; six brothers, Lawrence, Jack, Charles, Melvin, Walter and Curtis Barrow; and three sisters, Laura Miller, Nettie Francis and Sophia Reed.
William was a World War II Veterans and he enjoyed fishing, watching westerns and Sandford and Son on TV. He retired from Terrebonne Parish Consolidated Government.
Visitation is Thursday, June 28, 2007 from 9:00am until 11:00am, with the funeral to follow at Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Gray, LA. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
