William David Baytop, 65, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013.
Mr. Baytop was a U.S. Army veteran who earned various medals including the Purple Heart. He also earned a welding diploma.
He is survived by his daughters, Wiesha and Adrian Baytop; brothers, Jacob Jr. and Percy Sr. Baytop; and five grandchildren. (Jones)
