William Ledet Sr.

William “Bill” Ledet Sr., 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died Saturday, March 31, 2007.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the St. Louis Cemetery.

He is survived by one son, William Ledet Jr.; one daughter, Connie Marie Ledet; one brother, Henry Ledet Jr.; one sister, Gertrude Trahan; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Una Mae LeBeouf Ledet; his parents, Henry and Sedonia Dupre Ledet; one great-grandchild, Brittney Marie Robichaux; four daughters, Dianne, Donna, Winnie and Lisa Ledet; one brother, Alvin Ledet; and three sisters, Wilma Ledet, Clothilde Picou and Jeanette Picou.

He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
