William “Russ” Russell Stacom, 63, a native of Englewood, N.J., and a resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, January 29.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Stacom; son, Keith W. Stacom and wife Maggie of Houma; daughters, Cammy Dreher and husband Steve of Tolleson, Az., and Kimberly A. Stacom of Houma; sister, Kelly Pelliciota and husband John of Laury Station, Pn.; and grandchildren, Matthew Dreher, Michael Dreher and Cate Stacom.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Stacom and Florence Anne Russell Stacom.
He was a board member of the statewide Louisiana Restaurant Association and president of the Bayou Chapter. He was leader of the Boy Scouts troop 339 and Cub Scout pack 339. He was a retired Allstate agent, and he owned and operated the Subway in Thibodaux. He retired from the U.S. Army after 32 years.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, February 16, at Chauvin Funeral Home.
