William Singleton Jr., 71, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Williams-Singleton; son, Jerod (Malerie) Singleton; daughter, Carolyn Singleton; brothers, Calvin Sr., Lawrence Sr. (Gwendolyn), Lionell (Betty) and Ronald Singleton and Tellis Levy; sisters, Joycie and Thersea Singleton, JoAnn Givens, Pamela Diggs and Sherry Allridge; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Sr. and Irene Singleton; and brother, Edward Singleton.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 8, at Dularge Community Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Rosehill Cemetery. (Jones)
