William “Willie” Savoie, 82, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Bayou Cane, La., died Tuesday, December 9, at 6:40 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Thibodeaux Savoie; and sisters, Marion Benoit and Doris Daigle.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Sr. and Eva Stevens Savoie; brothers, Lawrence and James Jr. Savoie; and sisters, Mae Thibodeaux, Olivia Carrol and Gertrude Matherne.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, December 12, at St. Bernadette Church in Houma, La., with the funeral services to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis #2 Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
