Willie “Rocking Willie” Albert Haynes, Jr., 71, a native of Thibodaux, La. and a resident of Houma, La. died Saturday, November 10, 2007.
He is survived by his son, Dejuan Renfroe; his daughter, Letisha Carvin; five sisters, Louise Foster, Lillie Mae Green, Mildred Howard, Dorothy Nolan, and Audrey Palmer; one on grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Audrict Haynes; his parents, Mable and Willie Albert Haynes, Sr.; three brothers, Joseph Wallace, Leonard Wilson, and Walter Wilson, Sr.; and his grandparents, Sarah Joseph and Louie Robertson, Sr.
Willie was a devout Baptist.
Visitation is Friday, November 16, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Community Funeral Home in Houma with the funeral to be held Saturday, November 17, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church in Thibodaux, La. He will be buried in Halfway Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
