Willie James Scoby Sr., 49, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:50 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015.
Visitation will be on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at Dularge Community Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until funeral time at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at the Halfway Cemetery.
Mr. Scoby is survived by his wife, Mary Williams Scoby; sons, Willie Scoby Jr., Tymone Scoby, Wilzirion Scoby, Marcus Allen and Morion Woods; daughters, Jennifer Green, Tatyanna Scoby and Wilasha Scoby; five grandchildren; mother, Earline (Austin Triggs) Scoby; sisters, Valencia (Everett) Lott and Charlotte Boudreaux; brothers, Keith (Alesia) Scoby, Austin Duncan, Bryan Guidroz and Charles Guidroz; and godchild, Curtis Maryland.
