Wilma Ellen Johnson Stuart, 76, a native of Opelousas, La., and a resident of Raceland, La., died Thursday, June 11.
She is survived by her daughters, Linda Faye Stuart of California, Terri Stuart of Algiers, La., and Patrize Stuart of Houma, La.; sons, Freddie Stuart Jr. of Thibodaux, La., Craig Stuart Sr. of Raceland, Joevonnie Ray Stuart of Maryland and Doevonnie Clay Stuart of Raceland; sister, Dorothy Brown of Thibodaux; 18 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband Freddie Stuart Sr.; parents, Valmo Johnson and Viola Lee Johnson; brothers, Clarence Johnson Sr. and Henry Johnson; and sister, Shirley Thomas.
She was Baptist.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday June 17, at New St. Mathews Missionary Baptist Church in Mathews, La., with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
