Toll revenue not enough to make bond payments
February 21, 2011Winona Dazee Guidry, 95, a native of Napoleonville, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 11, 2011.
Mrs. Guidry was employed by TARC and was a member of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Joan Babin; son-in-law, Joseph Vincent “J.V.” Crochet; seven grandchildren, Monica Muil, Tanya Caldwell, Mark and Eric Babin, Eugenie Brown, and Bennet and Garret Crochet; 11 great-grandchildren, Cary, Cody and Crystal Babin, Rebecca Joshi, Brian, Julie and Laura Caldwell, Jessica Brown, and Lilly, Ruby and Margeaux Crochet; and one great-great-grandchild, Chance Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmar “Hurry” Guidry; parents, Joseph and Mathilde Delaune Dazee; daughter, Jacqueline Crochet; son-in-law, Daniel Joseph Babin; brothers, Lawton, Fred and Philip Dazee; half-brother, Johnny Venissat; sister, Albion Guidry; and half-sisters, Lucy Hebert and Mae Bergeron.
She is buried at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
