Yvonne Kerne Benoit, 91, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, April 23, at 3:50 a.m.
She is survived by her sons, Wayne J. Benoit and wife Amy Mire Benoit and Tim J. Benoit and wife Judy Gaudet Benoit; daughters, Bonnie B. Daigle and husband Del, Rae B. Banta and husband Charles and Donna B. Fremin and husband Jode; grandchildren, Bruce, Denise, Joey and Jennifer Benoit, Chuck and Blaine Banta, Alysha B. Bonvillain, Brittanie Benoit and Stevie and Keri Fremin; three great-grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton C. Benoit; her parents, Philip A. Kerne and Cecil Bourgeois Kerne; and brothers, Leufroid J. Kerne and Philip A. Kerne Jr.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Visitation will be 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, April 25, at Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
