Althea “Tear” Lovell, 71, a native and resident of Houma, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
Visitation will be held Saturday, October 5, 2024 from 9am to 11am, with the funeral service to begin at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue.
She is survived by her daughter, Raquel Lovell; son, Chance Lovell; daughter, Courtney Lovell; daughter, Harley Lovell; grandchildren, Zachary LaCoste, Paighton LaCoste, Caleb Lovell, Lexie Odom, and Zoey Odom; great-grandson, Karson Cao; sisters, Melanie Verdin, Deanna Parfait, and Lawana Verdin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dudley Dupre Sr. and Geraldine Dupre; brothers, Dudley Dupre Jr. and Clinton Dupre.
The family would like to thank the staff of Terrebonne General Health System for their care and compassion.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue is in charge of arrangements.
