Southdown Plantation Fall Marketplace returns this Saturday
November 1, 2024Carlton Lee “Toon” Trahan, 79, a native of Creole and a resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Dorothy Portie Trahan; children, Shannon Trahan and companion, Patti Loupe, and Jordan Trahan and wife, Stephanie “Gigi” Trahan; grandchildren, Adeline Trahan and Juliette Trahan; and half-brother, James “Bodie” Trahan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, A.P. Man Trahan and Hilda Conner Sickafus; and siblings, Terry Trahan, Billy Ray Trahan, Linda Mae Conner, and Hilary “Poochie” Trahan.
Carlton worked in the oilfield for many years. He enjoyed participating in the Krewe of Hercules and spending time with family and friends at his camp. He was also a proud United States Army veteran. Carlton will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at St. Bernadette Catholic Church from 9:00 am until the Memorial Mass at 11:00 am.
The family would like to thank Haydel Memorial Hospice and Carlton’s caregivers, Julia, Jessie, and Tabitha for their excellent care.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the local Grant-A-Wish Foundation in Carlton’s memory.
