Cynthia Ordogne Young, 77, died Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 8:46 pm. Born March 28, 1947 she was a native and resident of Thibodaux, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 9:00 AM until service time at Saint Joseph Co-Cathedral. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM at the church with burial following at Saint Joseph Cemetery.
She is survived by her siblings, Noby Ordogne, Jr., Susan Simpkins and Diette Baudoin; niece and nephew, Chad Baudoin (Jennifer), Karen Baudoin (Kasha) and 3 great nieces.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Monty Young and her parents, Noby Ordogne, Sr. and Clemence Melancon Ordogne.
Cynthia was a 1965 graduate of Mt. Carmel and a 1969 graduate of Nicholls State University.
The family would like to thank the staffs of the Oaks of Houma and Audubon Health and Rehab. They would also like to extend a special thanks to Kaye and Ron Burke for their loving care.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Cynthia’s name to E.D. White Catholic High School or the Sisters of Mt. Carmel.
