Human Joseph Chiasson, 85, died Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 12:40 AM. Born May 31, 1939 he was a native and resident of Chackbay, Louisiana.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 21, 2024 form 9:00 AM until service time at Ordoyne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with burial at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Megan LeBlanc; son in law, Russell LeBlanc; grandchildren, Paige Chiasson, Paxton LeBlanc, Dillin LeBlanc; great grandchildren, Charlee, Madisyn, Allisyn, Dillin, Jr..
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Chiasson; parents, Herbert and Louisiane Trosclair Chiasson; son, Eric Chiasson; grandchild, Russ Quibodeaux; his siblings, Hilton Chiasson, Sr., Darrel Chiasson, Collence Chiasson, Oliver Chiasson, Firmin “Ray” Chiasson, Tessie C. Chenier and Ernest Chiasson.
He loved spending time outdoors, crawfishing, being in the woods, hunting, raising animals and growing his garden.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
