Joshua Jason Naquin, 38, a native of Dulac and a resident of Houma, passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Sarah Naquin; son, Bryson Naquin; mother, Debra Naquin; sisters, Tabitha Verdin, Monica Naquin, and Mary Naquin; and many extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Simon Naquin, Sr. and Mary Jane Trahan Naquin; father, Adam “Podna” Verdin; brother, Andrew Naquin; sister, Samantha Naquin; and in-laws, Cindy and Clay Price.
Joshua, genuinely known as “Big Show”, will forever be remembered as a loving and kind husband, father, son, brother, and dear friend. Everyone knew him as a gentle giant. He enjoyed watching football, especially his favorite team, The New Orleans Saints. He also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, but most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his son, Bryson. Joshua will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes during this time.
