Karl “Punkin” John Pinel

Karl “Punkin” John Pinel, age 60, a native and resident of Bourg, La., passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Karl is survived by his children, Jeremy Pinel (Courtney) and Jacob Pinel; his mother, Mary Pinel; his grandchildren, Lyric Pinel, Lyian Pinel, and Everlynn Pinel; his sister, Patty Champagne; and his beloved cat, Me-nu.

Karl was preceded in passing by his father, Raymond Pinel, Sr.; and his brothers, Darrel Pinel and Raymond Pinel, Jr.

Karl enjoyed being outdoors. Some of his favorite hobbies included fishing and riding his tractor. Karl was outside every day, and he enjoyed relaxing on the porch and grilling while drinking his beer.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Karl on Friday, November 15, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Magnolia Chapel from 9:00 a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. Karl will be laid to rest in St. Ann Cemetery in Bourg, La.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Ann Catholic Church by envelope or mass.
