Louise Adams Eschete

Louise Adams Eschete, 75, a native of Houma and resident of Bayou Blue, passed away on December 26, 2022.

Visitation will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 from 2pm to 6pm, with the funeral service to begin at 6pm, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue.

She is survived by her sons, Jessie Pellegrin (Dianne Verdin) and Dudley Pellegrin; grandchildren, Dave Danos, Danielle Verret, (Justin Coll), Jessica Pellegrin (Titan Pitre), Merissa Pellegrin (Dustin Adams), Raven Eschete, and Austin Lirette; great grandchildren, Brenna Danos, Arabella Coll, and Balex Pitre; brother, Wilbert Adams Sr.; sister, Odile Crochet; and numerous nieces, nephews, and Godchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Eschete; son, David Eschete; parents, Antoine and Florence Adams; brothers, Dudley Bonvillain, Sidney Bonvillain, Clifton Bonvillain, Anthony Adams, Ritney “Whitney” Bonvillain, and Clarence Bonvillain; sisters, Josephine Trosclair, Eva Thiel, Mary Bourg, Loraine Bourg, Delta Bonvillain, and Elvire Lilly; sister in law, Ida Adams; and brother in law, Clifton Bourg.

Louise was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved caring for children, not just her own children but she was a motherly figure to all the children in her family. She enjoyed collecting and smashing cans, as well as cooking for her family. She was a feisty woman who will be greatly missed.
