Terrebonne 4-H member places First in Wild Things Youth Art Contest
October 16, 2024Mark Anthony Bergeron, a resident of Houma, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 at the age of 64.
Mark enjoyed spending time with his family and friends whether it be at bowling league, family cornhole tournaments, hunting and fishing trips or just a good family cookout. He took pride in being a lifelong Knights of Columbus member. He was a jack of all trades who didn’t hesitate to help out those in need. Mark was a great father, brother, and son as well as his grandpups favorite person.
He was survived by his children, Leah Guidry (Britney) and Scott Bergeron; beloved dog, Amber; mother, Betty Bergeron; brothers, Irby Bergeron Jr. (Lisa) and Craig Bergeron (Stasia); sisters, Stacy Matherne (John) and Tracy Guidry (Lloyd); grandpups, Remi, Charlie and Nala; and numerous nieces, nephews and godchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Irby “Bubby” Bergeron Sr.; and his yellow lab Jake.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church from 9:00 AM until funeral time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow in the church cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff at Terrebonne General Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center and everyone involved in his care.
