Mildred Trahan Pierre

Mildred Trahan Pierre, age 90, a native of Grand Caillou and resident of Houma, passed away on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Mildred is survived by her longtime companion, James “Jim” Pellegrin; her sons, Cleveland “T-June” Pierre (Rachel) and Michael “Mike” Pierre (Cindy); her daughter, Veronica Pierre Pellegrin (Marty Cumberland); her grandchildren, Jamie Pierre (Anna), Rosalyn Boudreaux (Chance), Jaclyn Billiot, Hilary Hagler (Chris), Michalla Pierre, Kevin Pierre (Tiffany), Christina Steele (Zack) and Sarah Smith (Dalton); her great-grandchildren, Beau Pierre (Victoria), Luke Pierre, Cole Pierre, Grayson Johnston, Bowen Johnston, Calab Boudreaux (Kelsey), Dagen Boudreaux (Jenna), Malayna Boudreaux, Zoey Hagler, Peter Smith, Timothy Smith, Konner Pierre, Austyn Pierre and one on the way; and her great-great-grandchildren, Ezra Pierre, Eden Pierre and one on the way.

Mildred was preceded in passing by her husband, Joseph “Doo” Cleveland Pierre, Sr,; her son, Fernand “Ferlin” Paul Pierre; her parents, Anthony Trahan and Josephine Verdin Trahan Lodrigue; her sister, Evalena Trahan; and her son-in-law, Rickey Pellegrin.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Mildred on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Chauvin Funeral Home in Chapel Dauphine beginning at 9:00a.m. until the Funeral Service at 11:00a.m. Burial will be held in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery #2.

Mildred was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a parishioner of Grand Caillou Baptist Church.
