Oxceila Eve Dardar Naquin, 84, a native of Isle de Jean Charles and a resident of Montegut was born on June 7, 1940 and passed away on June 30, 2024.

 

Visitation will be held Friday, July 5, 2024 from 9am to 11am, with the funeral service to begin at 11am, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, Bayou Blue. Burial will follow in Rogers Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Mark Naquin Jr. and wife Taylor, Anthony Naquin Sr. and wife Carolyn; daughters, Berlynn Naquin, Ceceila Naquin, Vickie Leonard and husband Harris Jr.; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, Jess Dardar, Lavis Dardar, Dominique Dardar Jr., and Tommy Dardar; sisters, Bernadette Naquin, Norma Chaisson, and Betty Chauvin.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark J. Naquin Sr.; son, Michael Naquin; grandchild, Peggy Naquin; great grandchild, Conner Champagne; son in law, Louis Naquin; parents, Dominique Dardar Sr. and Elodia Dardar; brothers, Gillis Dardar Sr., Leroy Dardar, and Edison Dardar Sr.; sisters, Delina Guidry, Carmen LeBouef, and Ann Portier.

 

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff and nurses of Journey Hospice.
