Percy was an avid gardener, fisherman and deer hunter. He enjoyed running his dogs more than still hunting. Percy had his oldest grandson, Nick out in the freezing cold weather at 3 years old running his dogs. He married the love of his life, Grace, on February 27, 1965. Percy loved watching the sugarcane harvesters cutting the fields. He also attended every school, sport, or activity for his children and grandchildren, as well as giving rides when needed to and from school or functions. He was a true family man. Percy never met a stranger. He was always ready and willing to help anyone, anywhere at anytime. He was a proud member of Local Union #60, Plumbers and Steamfitters.
