Robert Julien passed away on September 22, 2024. Robert L. Julien, Sr. was born to the late Roger Julien and the late Mabel Noel Julien on March 10,1946 in Arnaudville, LA.
Robert resided in Thibodaux, LA most of his life. Robert Is a retired laborer of Union Pacific Railroad.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2024 at Ordoyne Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 after there will be a memorial service starting at 2:00.
Robert is survived by his wife Joyce Lofton Julien. He leaves behind 2 sons Harold Paul Julien Sr, (Beverly), Michael Anthony Julien (Mona). Robert also leaves behind 5 step-daughters Germaine L. Ingram, Hazel Redd (Julien), Tina Lofton, Avis C. Johnson, Courtney Ford, 4 step-sons Michael B. Anthony (Stephanie), Dean Lofton, Jeffery Lofton, Ray Calloway (Melanie). He was known as papa by the grandchildren, leaves 37 grandchildren, 47 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. Robert is also survived by his siblings, 2 sisters Elise Phillips of Houston, Texas, Majorie Dickey of Houston, Texas, Willie Julien(Barbara) of Sunset, LA.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roger Julien and Mabel N. Julien, one son Robert Julien Jr., 2 daughters, 4 brothers Harold, Lee John, Ernest, and George, 1 sister Kirby Julien and a host nieces and nephews.
Ordoyne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
