He is survived by his sons, Quint J. Liner, Sr.( Rochelle), Pernell R.Liner, Sr. (Stephanie), Sines P. Liner, III (Michelle), and Louis J. Liner (Monica); daughters, Lana (Ellis Jr.) Bourgeois, Lisa (Jesse Jr.) Dunn, and Louise (Jason Sr.) Keller; brother, Eldrich (Glenda) Liner; sister-in-law, Geraldine Liner; 26 grandkids; 52 great grandkids; his companion of 10 years, Phyllis Jane Lacoste; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 44 years, Earline Dehart Liner; his parents, Melvina and Sines P Liner, Sr.; son, Arnez, G. Liner; brother, Sterling J Liner, Sr.; sisters, Verlin Hebert, and Wilda Hebert; and daughter-in-law, Holly Liner.
He was a part-time deputy with TPSO (Rozand), a Fire Chief for Dularge Fire Department, a past Grand Knight for Knights of Columbus 8779, a past Faithful Navigator for Fourth Degree Knights of Columbus 2215; he also donated his time taking care of St. Eloi Cemetery for 40 years and he was a lead usher.
He was a fisherman and him and his brother owned Liner’s Net Shop. He loved his community and his family. He was Dad like no other and will be missed dearly by all that knew him. God always came first. He always had an open home with food and coffee on the table he enjoyed hosting dinners for the priest.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation in his honor on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Chauvin Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at St. Eloi Cemetery.
