Thomas M. “Tommy” Duplantis Jr., 65, a native of Houma and a resident of Gray, gained his angel wings on Friday, August 16, 2024.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Melissa Hebert; daughter, Amber Hebert; grandchildren, Lexi and Niko Prestenbach; brother, Keith Duplantis; sister, Gayle Dulplantis; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Gabby Hebert; parents, Doris Chauvin Duplantis and Thomas M. Duplantis, Sr.; and brother, Guy Duplantis.
Tommy will forever be remembered as a loving, kind, and caring man. He loved taking care of his family and friends, and enjoyed fishing and hunting since childhood. Tommy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and well-wishes during this time.
A memorial graveside service will be held on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Holy Rosary Cemetery in Houma at 10:00 am.
