Tax turbulence: Gov. Landry’s plan faces resistance amid broader legislative battles
November 15, 2024Travis James Bergeron Jr., 38, born March 8, 1986 a native and resident of Bourg, Louisiana went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
A visitation will be held in his honor on Friday, November 15, 2024 at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, 635 Bayou Blue Rd., Houma, Louisiana from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
He is survived by his parents, David Bergeron Jr. and Jane Vito Bergeron; his daughters, Harmanie Detiveaux, Melody Bergeron, and Isabelle Bergeron; his son, Achilles Bergeron (his Buddy); estranged wife, Andree Bergeron; and his grandmother, Jeanette “Jan” Bouquet Bergeron. He had one godchild, Ethan Bergeron, and lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Bergeron Sr.; his maternal grandparents, Rosalis J. Vito and Marie A. Ledet Vito; great-grandparents, Calvin and Jeanette Bouquet Deroche, and Enos and Leona Leonard Ledet; uncles, Patrick Vito, Rosalis Vito Jr., Daniel Vito, and Enos P. Vito; and one cousin, Lacie Ann Bergeron.
Travis loved fishing and crabbing. He loved to play his guitar.
The family would like to thank John, Andrew, and Jimmy Vito for taking care of him while he was sick. The family would also like to thank Haydel Hospice.
