Tyrone “Ty” Mack

Tyrone “Ty” Mack, a retired employee of Nicholls State University, departed this life on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. He was 60 and a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA. Visitation on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Mount Zion Baptist Church, 1117 President St, Thibodaux, LA from 9:00am until funeral Service at 11:00am.

Burial at Zion Memorial Gardens, 262 Sanders St., Thibodaux LA. Funeral attendance is limited, mask are required.

Tyrone enjoyed working at Nicholls State University, the staff and students loved him. He was employed there for over 20 years and just recently retired. He will be missed by many. Survived by his mother, Enola C. Woods; 2 brothers, Keith Mack and Lloyd Woods, Jr. (Makiya); nephew, Braxton Mack; nieces, Jade Mack and Emily and Maya Woods; uncles, Sylvester Cook, Jr. and Harold Cook; former wife, Rose Ward Cook; a host of other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his father, Sullivan Mack; maternal grandparents, Sylvester Cook, Sr. and Emily W. Cook; paternal grandparents, Muriel Mack, Sr. and Beatrice B.
