With pads already popping across the area with the start of spring practices, football is on the minds of many in the Tri-parish area.
The Louisiana High School Athletic Association did its part last week to make sure fans get a little more of their football fix.
The LHSAA released football schedules for the 2011 season.
And while the game they are playing will be the same, some of the names on opposing jerseys will be a little different as the 2011 season marks the first year with new districts for everyone in Louisiana.
But even with the districts realigned, several former district partners will still pair up, this time in non-district contests.
