Several local students named to LHSAA Fall Sports All-Academic Composite Teams

The Louisiana High School Athletic Association (LHSAA) recently announced their selections for the 2024-25 Fall Sports All-Academic Composite Teams, which aim to recognize student athletes who excel not only in their respective sports, but in the classroom as well.

These student athletes are seniors who have maintained a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 or higher throughout their high school careers while competing in fall sports. The following local student athletes were recognized: 

FOOTBALL

• Benjamin Rodrigue – E.D. White
• Logan Bardarson – Houma Christian
• Luke Breaux – Houma Christian
• Cohen Danos – Houma Christian

VOLLEYBALL

• Lucille Clement – Thibodaux High

BOYS CROSS COUNTRY

• Cohen Cunningham – Thibodaux High

GIRLS CROSS COUNTRY

• Maddison Carey – Covenant Christian

GIRLS SWIMMING

• Sunnie Dufrene – Ellender High
• Sophia Hodson – Central Lafourche
• Madison Siitan – E.D. White

BOYS SWIMMING

• Clayton St. Germaine – Central Lafourche
• Alex Friedlander – South Lafourche
• Austin Kramer – Thibodaux
