Terrebonne High School’s football standout Maason Smith has officially signed with LSU.
The senior defensive lineman will be a Tiger next season.
Smith signed a scholarship on Wednesday afternoon at the Houma-Terrebonne Civic Center.
Rivals, an authority on college football recruiting, ranked the five-star recruit as No.1 at his position as well as overall for the 2021 class.
Smith chose LSU over offers from Georgia, Alabama and Miami.
