5 Daisy Winners

Five Terrebonne General Medical Center team members — (from left) Leah Porche, RN, Amie Chauvin, RN, Cherokee Davis, CAN, Paige Martinez, RN and Sarah Chauvin, RN — were presented the Daisy Team Award for Extraordinary Nursing Teamwork. The nurses cared for a patient who was battling a wound infection and had to spend a month in the hospital receiving treatment. They spent extra time visiting with the patient, decorated her room for a holiday and celebrated her birthday with a cake and balloons. The patient has since recovered and is home doing well.
