Alfred Prestenbach

Alfred Peter Prestenbach, 71, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 11:25 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016.

Mr. Prestenbach enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was an accomplished entrepreneur who was involved in many business ventures.

He is survived by his son, Alfred (Shanna) Prestenback Jr.; daughter, Dia (Jeffrey) Fields; brothers, L.J., Larry, Perry and Clyde Prestenbach; sister, Brenda Prestenbach; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

The family requests, in lieu of flowers, donations to be made to a charity of choice.

Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery.
