NWS meteorologist warns of lax storm attitude

Arthur Paul Duplantis Jr., 74, a native of Arnaudville, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016.
Mr. Duplantis enjoyed Mardi Gras, truck driving, traveling and fishing.
He is survived by his son, Christopher (Amy) Duplantis; daughters, Hope (Jeanette Crochet) Duplantis and Effie Undburger; sister, Elaine Mary Daigle; stepson, Richard Cook; stepdaughters, Kathleen Gregoire, Janice Cook, Ellen Bourg and Cynthia Magellon; 23 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Eloi Catholic Church Cemetery.
