Autism Society Bayou

Accepting mini-grants from the Autism Society were, from left, April Pierce of Bayou Blue Elementary; Denise Chauvin, occupational therapist for Terrebonne Parish School District; Beverly Cavalier of Napoleonville Primary School and Almetra Pierce of J.A. The grants fund the purchase of iPads, therapy supplies for handwriting and sensory support and to create sensory space for students with sensory challenges.
