Avery Vedros

Avery J. Vedros, 78, a native of Mathews, La., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died on Thursday, January 19, 2017.

Mr. Vedros was a lifetime member of the Marine Corps League and Knights of Columbus of St. Hilary.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Barrios Vedros; daughter, Jan (Pedro) Alvarez; son, Gilford (Shonet) Vedros; brother, Lester Vedros; and one granddaughter.

Burial is at St. Hilary Catholic Church Cemetery in in Raceland.
