Benson J. Plaisance, Jr., age 72, a native and resident of Raceland, died on Thursday, May 14, 2015.
Benson is survived by his wife, Catherine Zeringue Plaisance; sons, Chris (Romy) Plaisance, Glenn (Ginger) Plaisance, Gregory Plaisance, Matt Plaisance and Paul Plaisance; daughter, Mary (Jason) Robichaux; brothers Nelson and Charles Plaisance; sister, Marguerite Jones; and 8 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Benson J. Plaisance and Vlyna Chauvin Plaisance.
Burial is at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Thibodaux Cemetary.
