South Lafourche hires new coaches
June 2, 2015Mrs. Beverly Ann Washington Thomas. 59, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died on Saturday, May 23, 2015.
First Lady Thomas loved helping people; she would always greet others with a smile and a warm hug. She and the Rev. Clyde were very active in the community working with the Weed and Seed Program. She loved God and her church family.
Mrs. Washington is survived by her husband, the Rev. Clyde Thomas; sons, Jerimiah and Marcus Thomas; daughters, Tracie, Latisha and Dana Thomas; brothers, Kennedy (Phyllis), Albert Jr. (Verley), Samuel, Johnell and Bruce Washington; sisters, Gladys Dorsey, Agnes (Morris), Charles and Jane Coleman; 19 grandchildren; and five great-grand-children.
Burial is at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery. (Kennedy)
