Carl Blanchard

Carl Joseph Blanchard, 89, a native of Bayou Black, La., and resident of Houma, La., died at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

Mr. Blanchard was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Bayou Black. He enjoyed playing cards with loved ones.

He is survived by his son, Wayne (Cindy) Blanchard; daughter, Carleen Veronie; sister, Mildred Dupre; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Bayou Black Cemetery in Bayou Black.
