Charles Harmon James Jr., 53, a native of Grenada, Miss., and resident of Franklin, La., died Friday, July 3.

Mr. James was an 18-year dedicated employee of Columbian Chemicals. He also coached little league as well as helped with Hanson Memorial School Athletics. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and was blessed with the talent of being able to fix anything.

Mr. James is survived by his wife, Trisa Hebert James; daughter, Alyssa Danielle James; son, Kade Charles James; mother, Sue Parker James; sister, Naomi James Blount; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Humphrey and Carolyn Hebert, respectively.
