Charles John Sonier, 80, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:05 a.m. on Friday, April 29, 2016.
Mr. Sonier was a commercial construction supervisor who enjoyed visiting his camp, fishing and gardening. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Catholic Church.
He is survived by his sons, Richard (Sharon), Ronald (Cynthia) and Wayne Sonier; daughters, Janet Sonier and Karen (Scott) Gros; brothers, Dewey, Herman Jr. and Donald Sonier; sisters, Rosie Hutchinson, Eloise Brunet and Yvonne Malbrough; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment is at St. Louis Catholic Church Mausoleum.
