Charles Raymond Wibel Jr., age 63, passed away surrounded by his loving family at 5:20 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018. He was a native and resident of Houma.
Charles is survived by his wife of 41 years, Tina Andrus Wibel; brothers, Ivy P. Bernard and wife, Charlyn, and Howard J. Bernard, Jr. and wife, Beth; sisters, Charlene W. Thomas and husband, Michael, Kathleen M. Wibel, and Angelic B. Blanchard; in-laws, Ronald Andrus and wife, Iris, Bonnita “Bonnie” Bridges and husband, Michael, and Carita Moreno and husband, Dave; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles was a veteran of the U.S. Airforce. He enjoyed fishing and collecting antique bottles. He was a loving husband. He spoiled every child he met. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
The family would like to thank Joey Bernard for his love and devotion to the family, the staff of Mary Bird Perkins, Dr. Morange and the staff at Haydel Memorial Hospice for their care, love, comfort, and family and friends for their love and support.
