Clifford Brown Sr.

Clifford Brown Sr., 66, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Mr. Brown was Baptist. He was a retired mechanic and truck driver and enjoyed fishing and helping others.

He is survived by his mother, Irma Coleman; children, Clifford Jr., Floyd Celestine, Shantel Brown and Keyana Nelson; stepson, Isaiah Smith; brothers, Bishop Oliver (Zelda) Coleman; Bishop Samuel (Cecelia) Jones, the Rev. William Caldwell, Ernest (Hattie), Lee, Anthony (Rose), Donald, Douglas and Michael Coleman; sisters, Elvina Thompkins and Elnora Jones; 22 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Burial is at Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland. (Community)
