David Wayne Arceneaux, 61, a native of New Orleans, La., and a longtime resident of Houma, La., died on Saturday, April 16, 2016.

Mr. Arceneaux was an avid fisherman and Saints fan, who loved music and his pond. He was employed by Gulf South Armature.

He is survived by his wife, Nora Guerrero Arceneaux; son, Jared Arceneaux; daughter, Jasmine (Walter Sons) Arceneaux; three grandchildren; brother, John (Donna) Arceneaux; sisters, Brenda (Mickey) Cougot and Nanette Arceneaux; mother-in-law, Eulalia Guerrero; and several in-laws.

A GoFundMe account has been set up in Mr. Arceneaux’s name.

Burial is at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2. (Falgout)
