Delvin “Ponkin” Joseph Lirette Jr., 41, native of Houma, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died at 8:16 a.m. on Thursday, April 21, 2016.
Mr. Lirette was a fisherman, boat captain, a jack-of-all-trades and always there to lend a hand.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Mary Billiot and Michael Billiot; companion, Daniell Trahan; daughters, Hailey (Chris White) Evandelista and Julia Fletcher; sons, Edward (Tessa Mclemore) Billiot, Kyle Price, Noah Dupre; two grandchildren; sister, Christine (Javier) Valentin; and brother, Desire (Mindy) Lirette.
Burial is at Rogers Cemetery in Houma. (Samart)
