“I want to take time out of y day to personally thank all f the men and women with the local law enforcement for risking their lives so that my wife and my children can walk around Houma a little bit safer. Thank you to all for the selfless sacrifice for our community. It is not ever forgotten, nor will it ever be forgotten in our community.”

“Congratulations to Houma Police. They locked up a bunch of people who weren’t harming anyone else, but who are instead addicted to a substance and very much need help – help they’re not going to be able to afford getting because they are now going to have to pay thousands of dollars in bail and legal fees. I am not anti-police, but I think our system drastically needs changing, because I think we worry entirely too much about locking up the people who aren’t doing any harm to anyone else, but who need our help more than anything.”
