Donald “Duck” Pellegrin Sr., 65, a native of Chauvin, La., and resident of Schriever, La., died at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2015.
Mr. Pellegrin served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was the owner of Pellegrin Bros. Auto Parts and an insurance adjuster. He was also an avid fisherman and hunter, and was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church.
Mr. Pellegrin is survived by he wife of 40 years, Dorothy “Dot” Pellegrin; mother, Loretta Pellegrin; brothers, David Jr. (Judy), Marty and Eric (Desi) Pellegrin; and sisters, Teena (Jerome) Theriot and Melanie Voisin.
Burial is at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cemetery
