Woman accused of stealing from an area church

Dorothy D. Cheramie, 92, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Cut Off, passed away on June 13, 2018.
Mrs. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Joanne C. Picou (Franklin); son, Alan J. Cheramie; grandchildren, Gia, Danette, and Ron Picou (Brandy), Alan Jr. and LeeAnn Cheramie; great-grandchildren, Phallon and Alanya; and brothers, Warren and Arthur Dufrene.
She was a member of the Catholic Daughters and a retiree with 30 plus years with the Lafourche Parish School Board.
The family would like to thank Dr. Pitre, St. Joseph Hospice, Nurse Chris Guidry, caregivers-Ella, Gail, Lois, Melissa, April, Jan, and Emilie for the wonderful care provided.
