Earl Roche’ Jr.

Earl Joseph Poche’ Jr., 77, a native of Houma, La., and resident of North Carolina, died on Friday, April 3, 2015.

Mr. Poche’ was a former teacher in Orleans and Lafourche parishes. He served as a member of the U.S. Army.

He is survived by his son, Daniel (Lucy) Poche’ Sr., daughter, Elizabeth Andrews; seven grandchildren; brothers, Philip Sr., Raymond, Maurice and the Rev. Daniel Poche’; sisters, Earline (Armo) Cantrelle, Melanie (Edward) Ougel, Carolyn (Huey) Ledet and Lydia (Donn) Pickering; his former wife, Hilde Alfonso; two great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.
